Je voudrais vous donner un conseil pédagogique :
Séparez bien votre travail de compréhension orale globale, de compréhension détaillée avec le texte sous les yeux puis votre travail de prononciation.
Cela ne fonctionne pas bien si vous essayez de faire les 3 tâches en même temps (comme écouter tout en essayant de lire les petites traductions en français… Ce n’est pas bon).
1 – Écoutez le texte 2 fois puis faîtes le quiz, même si vous savez que vous n’avez pas tout compris.
2 – Étudiez le texte écrit sans l’écouter. Notez sur un bloc-note les mots nouveaux que vous aimeriez apprendre.
3 – Ré-écoutez le texte tout en le suivant des yeux sur le script.
4 – Ré-écoutez le texte en cachant le script.
5 – Enfin vous pouvez répéter des phrases du texte en faisant “pause” pour travailler votre prononciation.

When he was young, he used to live in the country with his parents.
He had a lot of problems when he moved to New York, because he wasn’t used to living in such a large city. Everything seemed difficult, at first. But as time went by, he got used to it. He’s in New York because he attends a famous architecture school.
He won’t always stay in New York. He’s going to travel abroad and visit Europe.
